I wanted to name our old cat Turtle, but we didn't get to pick a name because we found her in the wild and thought her owner would come back. For the rest of her life, she was known simply as "Garage Cat"

all of ours but 2 were out by my old apartment, abused
there was another one by our apartment building, and she was in a "burning" home.
then, we have our most recent addons, just after we moved to our old house: dora (the most playful) and saphie (the runt of the 2, gone)
the ones at the apartment were named as follows: fire (gone, rip, a calico), shadow (the one i was talking about here, a beautiful tortise shell), nibbler (she would eat our food without knowing it, a grey tabby cat) and yoshi (sometimes referred to as yosh, she was a lap cat for a while, and when we first found her, her tail was [and still technically is] cut
so yea, that's the cats that i know of (there was another, named Egypt, but we lost her when i was around 2
