"Hello and, again, welcome to the Aperture Science computer-aided enrichment center."
"We hope your brief detention in the relaxation vault has been a pleasant one."
"Your specimen has been processed and we are now ready to begin the test proper."
"Before we start, however, keep in mind that although fun and learning are the primary goals of all enrichment center activities, serious injuries may occur.”

Mark: Relaxation vault? Test? Serious injury?

“Please spend the next minute preparing*

Mark: Preparing, huh? *sweeps his legs off the bed and stands up*

*its the room from portal 1*

Mark: *looks around*

Me: what the heck where am i ?

*you hear a radio playing music*

: who are y’all?

K17: "Uuuuuuuh..."

*K17 walks over to it*

It periodically rotates and shoots an Orange portal

*K17 touches it*

*nothing happens*

*K17 tries to pick it up*

*failed to pick up portal gun*

K17: "Huh..."

*K17 looks at it, confused*

*the timer hits 0 and an orange portal appears below the timer, and a blue one appears outside in the hallway around the glass*

*K17 steps through the portal*

*he ends up outside the relaxation vault in a hallway*

*K17 looks around*

Theres a room at the end

*K17 walks into the room*

In the room is a button and a small robot.

*K17 puts one his weights on the button and looks at the robot*

PA voice: “If you are caught using outside equipment, the Aperture Science Emancipation Grills will be calibrated to fizzle contraband.”

K17: "These weights are part of me. They can't be removed."

Robot: Believe me, they will. Try to do the test, k?

K17: "These chains are integrated into my body. I was built, not born. I was built with these chains as a part of my body. I've tried every possible method to get rid of the weights and chains. EVERY method."

Robot: Even Aperture Science Emancipation Grills?

K17: "Yep."

Robot: Then you should use them even less

K17: "I use them for a lot of things that would normally be done with hands or objects. These weights are also 10 tons each."

Robot: Sure, just don’t cheat with them.

K17: "I don't know what's considered cheating. Like, can I use them to fight, and to get to ledges easily?"

Robot: No. I don’t know what you are but humans can’t do stuff like that

K17: "I'm a vessel."

A locked door opens
“Pfft”

*K17 walks into the door*

When you step off of the button the door closes! You need something to hold down the button.

K17: "Why not just use my weights?"

Robot: I wouldn’t cheat like that If I were you

*K17 pulls it back and catches it*
K17: "Then how am I supposed to do this?"

The robot does that thing where you point to yourself
Robot: My whole job is as a weight.

K17: "Then... Can you please, like, get onto the button, or something?"

Robot: Fine. *it mutters lazy*
It stands on the button and the door opens

K17: "Thank you!"
*K17 runs through the door*

Robot: How do you contain a rampant disease? That’s like trying to put the atmosphere in a cup!

K17: "The infection spreads only through dreams. I was created as an early attempt to contain it, and I was supposed to have 'No Mind To Think. No Will To Break. No Voice To Cry Suffering.'."

Robot: How would a virus be in dreams????
