But, the Underworld didn't have oceans, just rivers, the Styx (killed most, gave Achilles the iron skin and weak heel), the Lethe (wipes memories) , the Acheron (the river of eternal suffering), the Phlegethon (the river of fire), and the Cocytus (the river mom misery). Not a single ocean, just the five rivers

I know nothing about Chinese myth, but I definitely can answer the Egyptian one. Baster was indeed fascinating, goddess of cats, and in some stories, the protector of pregnant women. Although, the first translation was wrong, everyone though she was called Bastet, but the original name is just Bast
