AcTuAlLy, Anubis was the god of the DEATH and embalming. And all he really did was weigh your heart against the ostrich feather. It was Osiris who guarded the dead.

But yeah, he's super hot.

Also, They both protect the dead, Though Anubis mostly guards graveyards
