Actually, Herobrine was never a canonical figure in Minecraft, he was merely created as a creepypasta by the Minecraft community. All the abilities shown on this list are canonical powers that a player (Steve or Alex) has in Minecraft, as well as a couple that I forgot about, such as melting metals and sharpening even the toughest material known to man (diamond) with his bare hands by heating them to up to 7280* fahrenheit, or 4026.7* celsius.
