The policies in question are made for rich people by rich people. Currently Amazon pays no business taxes in the USA. One of the world's richest companies. No taxes.
As long as the rich write tax law, there will be plenty of loopholes. In the USA, the very rich and the very poor pay no taxes.
So when someone says: "tax the rich" they mean "tax the working class." Now give me a flat tax system with no lawyers or accountants involved? Then I'll support it.
