Here's a few
-never get demotivated because of what people say about your art. Take criticism lightly, at the end of the day art is something we as human beings do, not always a skill. Also remember if you wouldn't take advice from someone, you don't need to take their criticism either.
-it's your art and your canvas, don't let anyone or anything dictate what you draw. E.g. if you wanna draw furries, draw furries. Don't let other people put you down.
-always save your work as both a png and whatever your art software uses (e.g. fire alpaca uses mpd to tell files with layers apart) also remember to save frequently too.
-don't be afraid to sketch, sketching can be fun. Along side that, don't be afraid to start art and never finish it ya know? sometimes it's good to just scribble a bit with no intention of doing anything with the art.
-if something ends up looking weird like a hand, it's okay to look up references for hands to help figure it out. Sometimes even things like arms can be rough to get right, it's okay to use a reference for anything really.
-don't trace or steal art. The second you do all your art will come into question, your identity will be ruined and you'll loose respect from anyone in your community. Really, just don't.
If you want you can send a meme chat link and I can hand over a few references and guides that helped me figure out how to draw better.
