Which loadout is better?

Well the loadout with the rifle is gonna be way more effective, since the guy with the rifle and can just stand back a couple hundred yards and lob rounds into the guy with a shotgun and stubby pistols, while he can't hit crap.

Yeah, a 30-30 is point and shoot at 150 yards. Meanwhile, you better have a rifled barrel and a scope to hit someone at 150 yards with 12 gauge slugs.

Yeah, 150 yrds is really pushing it with slugs, you'd need some kind of sabot loaded pretty hot I would think.

Meanwhile 150 with a deer rifle is easy if your gun's sighted in.
