Koh: huh!??! *checks it out*

*there's a figure in the crater, laying face-down*

Koh: hm? *inspects it*

*they have some small-ish wings*

Koh: *picks them up and takes then inside*

*their left wings are on fire and are mostly destroyed*

Koh: *heals it and puts out the fire*

*the wings don't heal, but a snapped off horn does*

Koh: hmmm *trys to wake them up*

*their wings move a bit*

Koh: hmmmm *makes a small explosion near their head to wake them up*

*the figure slowly opens their eyes*

Koh: hello?

*the figure doesn't seem to hear Koh*

Koh: hi?

???: "Hi...?"

Koh: you ok?

???: "Well... I just- I just fell out of th- the sky..."

Koh: yeah I know *keeps healing any wounds on you*

???: "I w- was using my wi- wings and something happened..."

Koh: uhuh

???: "I was j- just flying over h- here..."

Koh: and you suddenly fell

*the figure turns around, revealing several bullet holes*

*heals those aswell although it hurts alot more than the other parts that were healing*

???: "I was... shot down..."

Koh: yeah I can see that *the bullets along with the wounds disappeared *

???: "I was... I was training..."

Koh: I know some defensive training I could give you after you heal up

???: "I was flight training..."

Koh: ok well atleast you can fly *finishes healing*

*the figure attempts to fly, but falls to the floor after a couple of seconds and stands back up*

Koh: you need to rest it's only going to hurt if you try to move

???: "Ok..."

Koh: anyway what's your name

???: "I'm Ail."

Koh: nice to meet you I'm kira

Ail: "It's nice to meet you..."

Koh:yeah

Ail: "My day has been going terribly so far."

Koh: *hands you a katana* here , I'm gonna train you tomorrow in Shockwave style it might help you deflect bullets since it's for defense and offense

Ail: "What is this?"

Koh: a katana specifically a training nichirin katana

Ail: "I've only ever wielded one weapon before..."

Koh: that is?

*Ail pulls out a really long sword-like weapon*
Ail: "This nail."

Koh: this is kinda like that *points at the middle of it* that's the swords best area to strike with but if you hit with the bottom of it it has a high chance of breaking

Ail: "Ok."

Koh: ok hold onto that you'll need it tomorrow

Ail: "Ok."
*Ail puts the nail and katana into his cloak*

Koh: and here's this *gives you a teal kimono it has thunderstorm patterns all over it* its just a fashion choice you don't need to wear it

Ail: "I kind of... Can't wear anything over my cloak or take my cloak off."

Koh: ok that's fine just along as you can hold a sword with your hands

Ail: "I can hold things without using my hands."

Koh: oh ok well that works just know that I have to teach you stances and all that

Ail: "My Void Tendrils are capable of wielding the katana. Kind of."

Koh: hmmm I mean it's better with your hands so you can make the precise movements

Ail: "I'm capable of controlling the Void Tendrils."

Koh: ok

Ail: "My Void Tendrils are actually made of what is basically my own blood."

Koh: that's cool

Ail: "The worst part is that having the Void Tendrils out causes me some pain."

Koh: oh well that's not going to be good because you need to focus on breathing for the techniques

Ail: "I can still do that."

Koh: ok well then your training starts tomorrow

Ail: "Ok."

Koh: we're just going to practice on stances

Ail: "That sounds at least kind of easy."

Koh: don't worry it is seeing as the first form is called paralyzing tide all you have to do is hold your sword downward

Ail: "Ok."

Koh: heh yeah so get some rest and I'll see you tomorrow

Ail: "Ok!"
*Ail wraps himself in Void*

*koh lays down and sleeps*

*Ail quickly falls asleep*

-the next day-
Koh: rise and shine!

Ail: "Good morning..."

Koh: you ready for training?

Ail: "Yeah."

Koh: ok get up cause I'm still gonna cook you food

Ail: "Food?"

Koh: yeah wait do you eat?

Ail: "No."

Koh: why not?

Ail: "I don't require it to survive, so what's the point?"

Koh: fair enough so if you want to you can train a bit before we practice

*Ail unwraps himself and stands up*

Koh: ok so which form stances do you want to work on?

Ail: "I don't know."

Koh: 1 through 10 is all I can teach you at this point

Ail: "Have I mentioned that I never went to school as a kid?"

Koh: no

Ail: "Well, I didn't go to school."

Koh: ok can you count tho

Ail: "Kind of."

Koh: up to what number?

Ail: "17."

Koh: good thing that there's only 10 forms of this style then come on *gets up and walks outside*

*Ail follows them outside*

Koh: take out your sword

*Ail pulls the katana out of his cloak*

Koh: ok breathe deeply then exhale do that a few times and you should see sparks in your breath

*Ail breathes in and out deeply several times*

*your breath comes out visible and it has sparks in it and at some points it has what looks like water in it*
Koh: wow your a natural , now when fighting or defending make sure to do this

Ail: "Ok."

Koh: ok first form paralyzing tide , breathe deeply and point your sword to the ground then say in you head "Shockwave breathing first form paralyzing tide" the area should just become sky and sea and then there should be electricity running through the water

*Ail does all of that*

*the area just becomes peaceful but there's electricity in the water that your standing on and you see koh inffront of you stuck there*
Koh: good job!

*Ail smiles using just his eyes*

Koh: ok second form Is " lightning ripple thrust" breathe like before and thrust your sword into this training dummy

*Ail does that too*

*you made a clean cut through its head*
Koh: heh wow your the best student I've had

Ail: "Huh!"

Koh: well they all mastered it but still failed final selection ok lets continue , third form " lightning falls " this one's easy breathe then slash your sword down lightning will strike the area and then a blade of water will follow soon after

*Ail does that*

Koh: wow your great ok lets take a break

Ail: "Ok."

Koh: ok so tell me more about yourself

Ail: "So, first off, these wings are actually the Monarch Wings from the kingdom of Hallownest. Second, I'm technically a cannibal."

Koh: well your more like the ribbon art demon cause of the tendrils but ok

Ail: "Who's the ribbon art demon?"

Koh: a demon with the power to manipulate the ribbons on her clothes like tentacles but they can be easily cut but they easily regenerate

Ail: "That's just like my Void Tendrils!"

Koh: yes but being a demon comes with its down sides you can't step out in the sun and if you say the creator of all demons name your dead

Ail: "Then i'm glad i'm a vessel."

Koh: yeah ig so tell me more about you

Ail: "So, we vessels can die, but when we die, we turn into a Shade and respawn at the last place we rested at."

Koh: ok cool

Ail: "There's actually a lot to the vessel species."

Koh: heh well as long as you keep your abilities stay the same

Ail: "What time is it?"

Koh: 5 pm
