It's a shounen anime, what the f**k are you on about?

An anime with characters from Middle Eastern Mythology. But they white washed them. Spent 13 years of my life in that region of the world & they don’t look like them.

White washed who? It's an anime for teenagers, and was made in japan where white skin there is considered the norm. The only issue I see is if they misrepresented middle eastern mythology.

So what is white skin is their norm. It’s not about Japanese people. It is about middle eastern people. If they don’t want to have middle eastern looking people, then just make another Japanese fantasy story.

It is a story based on middle eastern mythology, not it's people. It's trying to tell a story, it isn't as if they are trying to completely represent its people. Just because I used chinese mythology in my story, and it only has caucasian people doesn't mean I am being racist.

It actually is. That's called white washing. If they don't have Middle Eastern people in a Middle Eastern mythos, then they are Japanese Washing. You cannot separate a mythology from it's people. It would be racist if I was to have a Japan based story but everyone in Japan is Black.

I agree with the part that you can't seperate mythologies from its people. However, I don't think I agree with the rest. Not everything is racist just because.
