*their voice has some static to it and sounds like it's coming through a radio*

*the Void has a layer of TV static to it*
???: "I'm not an actual vessel, just a radio contained within a failed robotic vessel's body."

Scarab: Oh, I see...

???: "Oh, and by the way, I'm Rady."

*Rady starts shaking*

Scarab: *she runs to the figure, grabs him up and growls* DON'T DO THAT, IDIOT.

???: "Why?"

Scarab: *growls* *she grabs the sword from her back and points it at the figure* DONT. DO. THAT. EVER. AGAIN. DO. YOU. UNDERSTAND. ME...?

Scarab: *exhale, and she puts her sword away behind her back, but doesn't let the figure go*

*Rady puts away his shotgun*

Scarab: *she throws the figure down, and stands in front of Rady* ...

*the figure starts running away*

Scarab: YEAH! RUN AWAY, YOU FREAK!

*someone starts giving the figure weapons*

Scarab: Oh great... *she picks up Rady and starts running as fast as she can*

*Rady is confused*
*the figure rejects the weapons, with one exception*

Scarab: *she stops and turns to the figure* ...?

*the figure aims a sniper rifle at Scarab's hand and pulls the trigger*

Scarab: ! *She gets shot but runs as fast as she can*

*the figure aims at Rady*

Scarab: *she turns a sharp right and hides Rady in her cloak*

*the figure starts chasing after them*

Scarab: *she hides behind a tree*

*the figure slows down and eventually stops, not realizing that Scarab is behind the tree*

Scarab: *hold Rady close to her* shh...

*Rady quickly turns his static down*

Scarab: *quiet exhale* ...

*the figure walks towards the tree*

Scarab: *her breath becomes shaky* ...

*the figure spots part of Scarab's cloak and starts running towards them*

Scarab: *she quickly gets up and runs the opposite way*

*the figure is startled and drops the sniper rifle*

Scarab: *she runs to the rifle and picks it up* ...

*the figure pulls out a dagger*

Scarab: *panting* Dont. you. dare. do. it....

*the figure just leans against the tree and accidentally drops the dagger*

Scarab: *she snatches it up* ...

*the figure checks their pockets, but there's nothing*

Scarab: *she stomps at the figure, hoping to scare them and make them run away* ...

*the figure just continues standing still*

Scarab: *she hits her shell in anger* JUST. GO.

Scarab: ... *she looks down* *she backs up and starts walking away*

???: "You could just imprison me or something."

Scarab: ... *she continues walking away and sighs*

Scarab: *she turns around to look at the figure* I guess you're right, then.... *she looks down and starts walking away again*

Rady: "He's wrong."

Scarab: ... *she looks down while walking*

*Rady pulls his shotgun back out*

*Rady aims at the figure*

Scarab: *sigh, then drops Rady* ...

*the figure steps back*
???: "Can I have my sniper rifle back?"

Scarab: No... *she starts walking again*

*the figure starts walking away*

Scarab: ... *she does not look back, she does not look at Rady, she just keeps walking*

*Rady follows Scarab and puts the shotgun away*

*the figure runs back over and grabs Rady*

Scarab: HEY! *She kicks the figure down and pins them down*

*they continue holding Rady*

*the figure stands up and starts running after them*

???: "I'm insane!"

*the figure starts running faster*

Scarab: *she tries to run a bit faster, but shes getting worn out*

*the figure gets close enough to grab Rady*

Scarab: NO YOU DONT. *kicks the figure down and keeps running*

*the figure continues chasing Scarab*

Scarab: JUST LEAVE 'IM ALONE!

???: "Why should I?"

Scarab: HE DID NOTHING TO YOU.

*stops running

*the figure catches up and takes Rady before sprinting to Scarab's right*

Scarab: He- ... Agh.... *she falls down and starts shaking* ah...

*the figure runs into a wall*

Scarab: *heavy breathing* ...

*they go through the wall*

Scarab: H-hey, sto....AAHHH. *she clutches her stomach* o-ow...

*the figure walks out of the wall with Rady tied to their back*

Scarab: ... *heavy breathing*

???: "Adios."
*they walk into a nearby forest*

Scarab: S-sto....st...

*Rady leaves a trail of Lifeblood behind the figure*

Scarab: *she tries to drag herself to the lifeblood, but it starts hurting her more* No... I.... *panting*

*Rady tosses Scarab a bunch of Lifeblood*

Scarab: *she gets up and starts running after the figure*

*the figure hears Scarab and starts sprinting*

Scarab: OH NO, NOT THIS TIME! *She runs faster*

*the figure runs into a dark section of the forest*

Scarab: ?!
*she looks around*

*there are a couple of different vessels around the forest*

Scarab: Uh...

*all of the vessels are either dead or unconscious*

Scarab: *she slowly walks around, looking at the vessels* ...

*one of them is chained to a tree*

*she tries to unchain them*

*they fall down after Scarab unchains them*

*the figure slowly wakes up*

*the figure has a nail stuck in their chest*
???: "Oh... H- hi..."

Scarab: *she crouched down and tried to get the nail out* ...

*the nail moves a bit, and the vessel starts bleeding Void*

Scarab: *she stopped trying to get it out* ...

???: "I'm... I'm f- fine..."

Scarab: ...!
*she remembered Rady*

Scarab: Sorry, I HAVE to go. *she gets up and starts running*

*???T starts following Scarab slowly*

Scarab: ? *she stops running and looks at ???T

???T: "You can i- ignore me if y- you want..."

Scarab: No, I-I-I just was wondering why you were following...me...

???T: "Well, y- you just saved m- my life..."

Scarab: *she sighed* you can follow if you want...

???T: "Th- thank you..."

Scarab: *she nods* Are you a fast runner?

???T: "N- Normally, I would be... B- but being chained to th- that tree for so l- long made me f- far slower..."

Scarab: Ah, I see, mind if I carry you...?

*???T turns around and wakes up one of the unconscious vessels*

*???B stands up, with a mark on their left horn*

Scarab: ...?

*???T has the same mark on their cloak*
*???B is far taller than ???T, and picks them up*

Scarab: ...

*???B puts ???T on their back and stands next to Scarab*

Scarab: Can you run fast...?

???B: "Yeah."

Scarab: Okay. *she starts running*

*???B starts walking at the same speed that Scarab is running*

Scarab: Heh! *She starts running faster*

*???B jogs at the same speed that Scarab is running*

Scarab: Heh, impressive! *She runs as fast as she can*

*???B is just jogging slightly faster at the same speed as Scarab is running*

Scarab: Where are they...? *looks around*

*there's a clearing in the middle of the forest with an abandoned building*

Scarab: *she stops running and sneaks to the building*

*???B takes ???T off of their back and places them on the ground carefully*

Scarab: *she slowly and quietly opens the door*

*the figure is in there, but Rady is nowhere to be seen*

Scarab: ?!

*the figure's face becomes a visual representation of the vine boom sound effect*

Scarab: *she barges in and grabs the figure* WHERE IS HE?!?!

???: "I don't know!"

Scarab: YOU DIRTY LIAR. GIVE HIM TO ME. * throws him down*

???: "I'm serious!"

Scarab: ...

???: "I know that he's in the clearing, but I don't know exactly where he is!"
