water is not wet
water is a liquid that gives you a specific feeling you feel as "wet"
this is like "is ice cold"
ice is not cold
there is just low enough heat that se feel it as "cold"

But when something has a certain amount of low heat it is considered "cold"

well...
people have different perceptions of cold
iraq says it is 75 degrees
kenya says it is 70 degrees
the phillpines says it is 60 degrees
america says its 40 degrees
canada says it is 30 degrees
norway says it is 0 degrees
russia says it is -15 degrees
barrow, alaska says it is -20 degrees
yakutia, russia says it is -25 degrees
*note that these are based off of prexisting knowlege and national steryotypes. i wrote all of this down to prove my point

Ok... Well I'm not going to get into an argument about whether or not water is wet. Seems like a waste of time. I respect your opinion.

water is wet. it is wet because in order for the object in question (water) to make another object wet the object must be wet in the first place. but there is the other side of the argument that states that "Wetness is the ability of a liquid to adhere to the surface of a solid as a liquid" but to make something wet you need to be wet in the first place... so this is kind of like the swiss cheese paradox.
