IMO: the first movie was cringe, but at the same time it had a nice story, was well thought out, and the graphics were SICK (the effects were crazy even though I watched it on my own TV with Hulu). I feel like Sonic 2 might also make me cringe a lot, but it seems like they will be relying more on canon, and that really excites me.
