Seriously. I'm taking a college psychology class rn and the teacher has mentioned a few ideas of his that make me nervous for future lessons

I mean my friend doesn't believe in evolution and when her teacher talked about why they evolved from fish she just sat outside the classroom

But evolution is at least rooted in science. Transgenderism goes against it.

Well, I believe in microevolution, but not macroevolution

Not saying he can't believe otherwise about evolution. I believe God created everything and was the guiding hand that made evolution play out the way it did to end at us.

Well, I believe that God made all of the base animals in the beginning, and microevolution made the different kinds of birds, fish, and other animals we see today

Genetics and fossils seems to show that it all started with a single cell, but we can't know for sure how God did everything.

Well, the way they determine the age of fossils and rocks are extremely unreliable. My bible teacher told me that he went to this place that had a volcano that recently erupted, and the carbon dating for the rocks that were just formed, were said to be hundreds of millions years old

That is likely due to the magma having had a relatively low amount of circulation for that period of time, so the carbon decay was measurable when it left the valcano

My family has a funny story regarding similar errors, though. My great-grandpa once drew random stuff in a cave with his friends, and a while later, people found the drawings and reported them to be tens of thousands of years old XD. It is likely due to the sample of graphite used in the pencil at the time being that old, though.
