I feel I should tell you that a lot of people asked what camera I used even when I just had the Kodak
and they went out and bought the exact model and still couldn't take great photos!
"Its not just the camera" Its going out and having fun spending the time and being able to see the good shots where you are at and positioning yourself in the light just so.
take this photo I shot, This is a very large open field facing due East No wires no buildings and I froze my butt off down in a ditch along side of the road in the dark and waited for the sun to rise into position. that tree line is about 1/4 mile away so I had to zoom in at just the right moment to get the shot and I took over 20 photos and just this one I was happy with. every shoot take as many as you can and pick through them later on your computer.
