This isn't whats happening. Roblox is setting all user made audio to private so you wouldn't be able to use it in games. However, they're allowing people to use audio they've uploaded, or audio roblox uploaded.

Oh, that sucks. But why?

The music industry is very money hungry, record labels were more than willing to sue roblox because kids were uploading copy righted content owned by the labels. These lawsuits could result in roblox losing lots and lots of money, so for now their answer is to keep people from publicly uploading music.

And the no refund policy on stuff that gets taken down, that's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

yeah, and also developers are in panic to get sounds up for their game ahead of time, and some are deciding if they should send some type of refund (in game currency or item) to players or not so...

and with the refund for the 2k, they might send you a message about it almost 2 months later like they did for me when some of my items where taken down
