Main weapon, regular grip)
The ink sword is another one shot weapon on certain conditions, the ink swords tip will one shot but has the worst control (control = hitting rate) the middle of the sword can 2 shot an opponent but with main weapon power up it can one shot and it has a moderate controlling, The mantle of the sword is the least strongest part of the ink sword but It has the most controlling. The regular grip is just as slow as the Splat roller or Dynamo roller but it hits hard, with maxed Main damage, The weapon will one shot.
(Sub weapon, reverse grip)
For the sub weapon, you go in reverse grip instead of a bomb. The reverse grip deals less damage as the tip 2 shots an opponent but has high controlling, The middle 3 or 4 shots an opponent and it still has moderate controlling, and the mantle will take 5 hits to splat an opponent and has a low controllablity. The reverse grip is faster then the regular grip making it a great way to charge up your special.
(Special weapon, takes 190p to generate)
The Phalanx is a defensive special weapon used to defend the user, This special has a quick start up time and is perfect for rainmaker or tower control however your back is left open for attack, The Phalanx's shields can take a lot of damage for the shields to crumble, this special isn't as powerful in offensive power as the spike on the shield don't deal as much as the main weapon does.
(Summary)
In all, this regular grip is perfect for close combat encounters while the reverse grip is more suited for gathering the special then it is for combat. The special is perfect for protecting teammates in the tower and escorting your teammates in rainmaker mode. The Inksword is heavily based off of European greatswords from the medieval era as it has the same range as a the brushes but has the strength of a roller.
