*they both finally stop after walking through the cave for some time. The leafwing checks something on the hivewing’s face, you notice that the hivewing is blindfolded.*

Unknown Hivewing: I think you can take off the blindfold now, I don’t think she is watching us anymore.

Unknown Leafwing: I’ll set the egg in a safe place first. I don’t want to go through all this trouble to protect it only to have your queen use you to destroy it.

Unknown Hivewing: don’t tell me where you set it. I wish we didn’t have to take such measures to protect our dragonet.

Nightshade: *squeaks* Oops...

*the leafwing heard it, she hides the egg first, behind some rocks, the Hivewing prepares to fight, the leafwing then spots Nightshade*

Unknown Leafwing: who are you? *she lifts up the hivewing’s blindfold*

Nightshade: Im a leafwing Nightwing hybrid and my name is Nightshade.

*they both look at each other and then back to Nightshade*

Unknown Leafwing: what’s a Nightwing?

Nightshade: I am on the lost continent. Okay a nightwing is a dragon from Phyrria and you guys would call that place The Lost Continent. To where Nightwings are from all of them and the other tribes would call this place The Lost Continent. Although I hatched here in Pantala, I can read minds, See the future, and I'm an animus somedragoon that can use magic and I cant lose my soul!

Unknown Leafwing: you know what this dragon is talking about? Wait… by any chance are you related to Clearsight? Also welcome to Pantala.

Unknown Hivewing: considering she can see the future, probably. All hivewings are descendants from Clearsight…

Unknown Leafwing: and unfortunately tried to kill every leafwing during the tree wars… kind of weird how I fell in love with one.

Nightshade: My dad is related to Clearsight much so

Unknown Leafwing: great… I wonder happens in the future of Pantala, surely no more fighting right? Queen Wasp has been… a little aggressive about burning down this jungle.

Unknown Hivewing: I thought those expeditions stopped decades ago.

Unknown Leafwing: occasionally we get the curious Hivewing who usually gets brutally murdered by the poisonwings or if it’s a group of them, they usually kill most of them and leave a few to tell the story of how dragon eating plants almost murder the entire squad. Sometimes they kill themselves in the various dragon eating plants or huge animals here.

Nightshade: Hmm?

Nightshade: Who are you guys im nightshade

Unknown Leafwing: unimportant. Just two fugitives.

Unknown Hivewing: lucky us.. I mean, it’s lucky that the hivewings only know one leafwing exists…

Unknown Leafwing: would be better if they didn’t know we existed at all..

Unknown Hivewing: then where would I be if I didn’t have you? *he smiled, he was clearly teasing her*

Unknown Leafwing: … *she smiled back*

Nightshade: *cold wind whips roubd*

Nightshade: I also hatched under 3 full mons.

*they look at you with concern, a few moments later the Hivewing falls over, they look like their in great pain even though nothing has happened*

Unknown Hivewing: Quick, the blindfold…

*the leafwing knew immediately what was going on and was already covering the hivewing’s eyes with it*

Unknown Hivewing: *in Queen Wasps voice* WHERE ARE YOU?! YOU CANNOT ELUDE ME FOR LONG!

Unknown Leafwing: by the trees this queen is annoying…

Nightshade: What queen?

Unknown Leafwing: my beloved hivewing’s queen.

Unknown Hivewing: I CAN HEAR YOU LEAFWING!

Unknown Leafwing: it’s queen wasp. She can control almost every Hivewing.

Nightshade: Almost?

*the Leafwing waits for the Hivewing to be in control of his own mind before speaking again*

Unknown Hivewing: I think she’s gone now…

Unknown Leafwing: good, the treason j said almost was that there was a theory that she doesn’t control who runs the hives. We have another theory.

*the leafwing hears a noise that makes her stop talking for a minute*

Cinder: *follows*

Unknown Hivewing: Ivy, I know your too little to understand what’s going on, or that you don’t know what I’m saying, but I love you, I will always be with you, whether I shall die today or die in 30 years…

Unknown Leafwing: I love you too Ivy, I will protect you for as long as I can.

*the Leafwing hands Ivy to Cinder, the two look at each other and nod. They walk towards the entrance*

Unknown Leafwing: if it’s needed, the cave extends further, I don’t know where the next exit is, but there should be more places to hide down there.

*the two disappear around a corner*

Cinder: "Ok, Ivy. You're too little to understand, but I'm going to explain the best I can. The Hivewing queen is a big, bad dragon who controls the Hivewings. Your parents are going to go fight some of them right now."

*Ivy just blinks at Cinder, she may have just hatched but it looks like she could already tell she was in some sort of danger and Cinder was trying to protect her.*

*sounds of battle were already starting to fill the cavern, you could tell already one of the enemy hivewings was dead when you heard them scream, it sounded like they successfully ambushed them. Noises of battle echoed off the walls. You hid behind some rocks and occasionally looked to see if they were coming, every minute or so. Ivy had curled up close to Cinder’s chest, you could tell she was scared.*

*after about 10 minutes, you could see the two friendly dragons retreat around the corner, for some reason the queen hadn’t taken control of the Hivewing, three enemy hivewings also rounder the corner, one was immediately struck in the head and had his neck slashed by the leafwing. The friendly Hivewing paralyzed the second enemy Hivewing by jabbing his stinger into his back.*

*However the last enemy Hivewing managed to get their talons on the friendly one and killed him, you heard the leafwing roar in rage and threw herself at the last Hivewing, it was a close fight but the leafwing had won, mostly because she stole a metal spear off of a dead Hivewing, before retreating. She looked weak now, she was covered in head to claws in scratches, most were bleeding, she looked severely injured, after killing the paralyzed Hivewing, she collapsed by the rocks. You saw on the three dead hivewings, their eyes were completely white, they had been controlled the entire time. This also meant they must have flew off course of their regular patrol.*

Cinder: "Is that all of them?"

Unknown Leafwing: *heavy breathing* yes I believe so… I’ll live to fight another day… my husband on the other hand… *she starts crying*

*Ivy looks at her mother… she struggles to leave your grasp, and when she does she almost lands on her head… she then walks over to her mother..*

Cinder: "You ok? I think I have some healing herbs..."

Unknown Leafwing: I’ll be ok… we knew the risks when falling in love, the chance that not just queen wasp but my tribe would also try to hunt us down… hopefully when the leafwings see Ivy they’ll realize that the hivewings not all bad… most of them are but not all.

*Ivy is still scared, so she stayed next to her mother, she lied down, the thought that the leafwing was able to protect her daughter comforted her*

Cinder: "Sounds like it's not safe here. If Wasp knows where you are, she might send back more dragons to kill you."

Leafwing: yeah, I know… *she stands up slowly* I’m going to have to retreat further into the forest, with any luck I will be able to walk in to either of the two leafwing villages that are left. I might have some trouble explaining Ivy though. The reason we couldn’t go to the villages was that I fell in love with a Hivewing, he would have been killed immediately. This was the best way unfortunately, and I got way to close to the border. Come on Ivy… *she picks Ivy up* maybe I’ll take some of those healing herbs… also that jungle is a dangerous place. Be careful trying to find your way back to your continent. Would want you to get swallowed up by dragon eating plants.

Cinder: "Dragon eating plants... Here are the herbs."

Unknown Leafwing: yeah the hivewing’s are evil… most hivewings are evil.

Unknown Hivewing: actually I think most hivewings don’t even know stuff like this happens, and that their being lied too… oh no… QUICK GET THE BLINDFOLD…

Unknown leafwing: I never even let go of it.

*as the leafwing was trying to get the blindfold back on, you see that the hivewing’s eyes are turning completely white, you can hear the queen’s voice*

Unknown Hivewing *in the Queen’s voice*: WHERE ARE YOU? WHERE ARE YOU HIDING LEAFWINGS?!

*the leafwing got the blindfold on just in time, she restrains the Hivewing from attacking everything as long as she can*

Unknown leafwing: *keeping the blindfolded Hivewing pinned to the wall, they try to talk to Cinder* their Queen is creepy, am I right or am I right?

Unknown Hivewing: I HEARD THAT!!!… STOP RESISTING MY CONTROL YOU BRAIN DEAD DRAGON. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE…

Cinder: *growls* "She sounds like a control freak. I HATE control freaks."

*the Hivewing stops struggling*

Unknown Hivewing: *heavy breathing* ok I think she’s gone… by the book I hope she doesn’t come back.

Unknown Leafwing: Queen Wasp really has a problem with this. Even if Queen Wasp were to die right now, I’m not sure if that would solve the problems between hivewings and leafwings, especially since they tried to kill all of us, which was because of Queen Wasp. I hate them so much…

Unknown Hivewing: if more dragons knew what was going on and if they were allowed to think for themselves for once, that war probably would not have happened.

Unknown Leafwing: it still would have happened, maybe for different reasons, but it was basically inevitable because of your queen. Maybe there wouldn’t have been as much damage, but other than that, nothing would have really changed…

Cinder: "How does she do that, though? I've never seen anything like that."

Unknown Hivewing: not even us hivewings know, most are born with it.. she usually only releases control of a subject when the Hivewing in question experiences enough pain that it is unbearable for her to stay in the hivewing’s mind.

*the leafwing looks like she actually knows something but doesn’t want to say anything*

Unknown Leafwing: this hasn’t happened with any of their other queens either.

Cinder: "Weird."

Unknown Leafwing: you want to know something? Their queen tried to take over every tribe, the Silkwings immediately gave up their queen because the hivewings stated that Book of Clearsight told them to and to have all tribes unite under queen wasp. When we asked to see the book, she would let my queen even look at it. When she started to cut down the trees and refused to stop, that’s when we went to war, your standing in the only place in Pantala that is left with trees. I wish we had that book… we could have won if we had it in our talons.

Cinder: "Well, I won't stand fr that."

Unknown Hivewing: actually that wouldn’t have been true… I don’t think even Clearsight could have predicted a war almost thousands of years in the future… much less the specific troop movements, I think those were all lies…

*the leafwing looks at the Hivewing in confusion*

Cinder: *nods* "I agree with the hivewing."

Unknown Leafwing: your telling me that the book is basically just a morale booster and they defeated us in honest combat?

Unknown Hivewing: saying honest combat isn’t quite what I would say but sort of like that…

*the leafwing let go of the hivewing*

Cinder: "..."

Unknown Hivewing: queen wasp really isn’t the best queen, anything that goes wrong she tries to cover up, anything good for her that happens, or the other hivewings get unhappy about something, she uses the book as an excuse, they don’t even think twice. Not if they could if they wanted too anyway.

Unknown Leafwing: yeah, your tribe as a lot issues—

*the leafwing hears something that makes her stop talking*

Cinder: *listens, pulling out a dagger*

*you hear a very quiet cracking sound, maybe the egg is hatching?*

Unknown Leafwing: I think our egg is hatching…

*the leafwing lifts the blindfold again so the Hivewing can see, the hivewing’s eyes are no longer completely white*

Unknown Hivewing: let’s go take a look.

Cinder: *slides the dagger back into its sheath and nods*

*you and the other two dragons walk over to the egg, and sure enough a dragon had just hatched*

Unknown Leafwing: it hatched. *she picks it up*

Unknown Hivewing: aww… I missed it.. it looks adorable.

*the new dragonet takes in its surroundings*

Cinder: "It's adorable. Far cuter than any Skywing dragonet I've ever seen."

Unknown Leafwing: I wonder when it grows up what abilities it would have. Leafspeak or your paralyzing stingers…

Unknown Leafwing: how about Ivy? It’s more of a poisonwing name but since its part Hivewing, I think it fits.

Unknown Hivewing: Ivy sounds like a wonderful name.

Cinder: *nods*

Unknown Leafwing: we could, but he might be a little more difficult… *she looks at the hivewing*

Unknown Hivewing: are you sure their hivewings and not silkwings?

Unknown Leafwing: positive. Your queen wouldn’t send her slaves to do patrol, she would send her military. And we have a problem, can you resist the queen’s control?

Unknown Hivewing: I can for a brief period but I’m not sure how I could fight. She might be here just to kill me.

Unknown Leafwing: ok, Cinder, if I fall, please protect Ivy, I want you to be our last line of defense… Queen Wasp can invade his mind at any moment. I cannot leave Ivy with him…

Cinder: "Got it."

*you three hear someone land on top of the cave just overhead, a few someone’s actually, but the cave entrance is a few miles away, you have time to plan*

Leafwing: oh no… Hivewing patrol, I didn’t think they would actually fly into the forest. I shouldn’t have moved so close to the border.

Cinder: "Could we fight them? If we caught them off guard?"

Unknown leafwing: thank you. *she grabs them, she uses some now and stuffs the rest in a pouch hanging across her neck that was empty* Be safe, I hope things aren’t as bad on your continent…

Cinder: "Maybe I'll see you again, one day. Until then, bye."

Unknown Leafwing: thank you for helping me, maybe one day we can fly across the ocean to the other continent. I wish the best of luck to you.

Cinder: "Thank you."

*the unknown leafwing and Ivy leave*

End: Ivy and her mother were able to move in with the poison wings after the hivewings attempted to chase her down through the forest. When Ivy was 2 years old, she and her mother went on her first mission. It was successful but her mother had died on the mission. This left her at the mercy of the other leafwings and she was promptly kicked out after it was suspected that she had murdered her mother which was a lie. The only reason they believed it was she was part Hivewing.

True ending:

The leafwing and Hivewing were unfortunately too close to the border of the poison jungle and we’re found by a Hivewing patrol. The unknown Hivewing was able to hide the dragonet so that the other hivewings would not find her. The unknown leafwing and Hivewing fought till they managed to kill the other hivewings… the Hivewing father died from his injuries, the leafwing barely survived… she died 2 years later.

*the egg looks like it is close to hatching, in fact it might even hatch this hour. The leafwing looks at her egg before she gently sets it down on a pile of leaves, hidden behind several large rocks. She then walks away to take off the hivewing’s blindfold, which is when they notice Cinder, who she immediately tackles thinking they are a hivewing, they hold their neck on the ground with one talon*

Unknown Leafwing: who are you?!

Unknown Hivewing: what’s going on? Did someone follow us?

Unknown Leafwing: yes someone did, just stay where you are!

Unknown Hivewing: I will.

Ciner: *throws the Leafwing off and jumps to her feet* "General Cinder of the Skywings, youngest Skywing to ever become general, second-in-command to Queen Pheonix, and leader of the Skywing army!"

Unknown leafwing: *she quickly gets back up, clearly ready for a fight* what the—

Cinder: *flicks her tail with a yawn* "Listen. You to freaks are the first thing I see washed up on this continent. The green one looks like a hybrid between a Seawing and a Rainwing, maybe, but a dragon with FOUR WINGS. That, I've never seen in all my years."

*the unknown leafwing had taken off the blindfold that was on the Hivewing. He saw Cinder now and was very confused*

Unknown Leafwing: maybe that would be smart, but first I want to know what a seawing and what a rainwing are.

Cinder: "Seawings: blue and green dragons that live in the ocean of Pyrrhia(lol i forgot how to spell it). Rainwings: color-changing dragons that inhabit the rainforest of the same continent

Unknown Leafwing: welcome to Pantala’s very own Poison Jungle, the only place left that has trees here. Theirs Leafwings like me, Hivewings, and Silkwings.

Unknown Hivewing: Queen Wasp can control us directly if she chooses to, either individuals or entire groups, sometimes the entire species. There are 8 or 9 hives. Also some of us have stingers that can paralyze other dragons for a day. The Silkwings live with the hivewings, they can create silk from their arms, in rare cases you can get a flame silk in which the silk is so hot it acts as fire.

Unknown Leafwing: not many of those guys left, and those that exist are kept somewhere secret, no silkwing even knows where they are or what they do for the hives.

Unknown Hivewing: a few do actually, but not many.

Cinder: "Huh."
