Me and also me: Longish hair

Onlynissue I had with long hair (down to my waist back in the day) was how much of a complete bastard maintaining it was.

If you're not putting in about 30-60 minutes a day in maintenance it looks like trash instantly and takes ages to get it back under control.

I see, but for me, forget about long hair down to waist. Even if my hair only reached my ear, my sister, mom, and dad continuously asked me to cut my hair just because it's ugly in their opinion, but not in my opinion. My friends are okay with that kind of my hair. They even gave compliment to my hair. There's no rule of hairstyles in my university, unlike elementary to high schools.
Ow man, i have no hairstyle freedom in my family :(

It's a pretty common situation, but if you're in University then you're old enough to disregard the opinions of people who don't like your personal style.

Ask ro see photos of yourvparents when they were your age, then ask them where they get off for giving you flak about your hair ^_^
