There are Republicans who will tell you Putin is a great guy. No Democrats, though.

In 1999, Vladimir Putin blew up four fully-occupied apartment buildings in Moscow and other cities, killing over 300, injuring more than 1000. Putin blamed this atrocity on terrorists and used it as a pretext to start a war. In 2002, Putin orchestrated a false-flag hostage crisis in a crowded Moscow theater. 850 were taken hostage, over 170 killed. All the terrorists were killed except the two leaders working for Putin, who were allowed to escape. Putin has a history of killing civilian non-combatants. He's a psychotic mass murderer.
