I saw your IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS post and you're absolutely right. They want me permabanned from the stream, but I'm all they can talk about.

Ultimately it all comes down to what Captain_Scar decides, no matter how many trials and votes we hold on whether I should remain banned. Doesn't feel very democratic does it? Especially since I've already served my month-long sentence and I'm currently banned without any actual reason beyond Scar just not liking me.

He broke his promise to unban me on February 27th, so Pollard had to unban me instead, only for Scar to re-ban me hours later. He also removed my mod, but the Constitution says Presidents are meant to keep their mod forever unless convicted of a crime through impeachment, which I haven't been.

And then we've got Envoy, who can't seem to decide whether to leave or stay on imgflip, trying to get me to apologise. That's a dumb idea because in reality I don't feel I have anything to apologise for but I can just do a fake one anyway and it'll still technically count. But again, it won't matter because Scar decides everything at the end of the day.

This never was a democracy. I knew this from the get -go. It's fun to pretend, tho, isn't it?

At the end of the day that's what IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS is all about; playing pretend. Shame it's gotten so serious and divisive. Although then again, that makes it more realistic. Just like actual politics lol

It is true. The best thing about it is you can see what other opposing viewpoints are on the political spectrum. They can be expressed without be suppressed, if you know what I mean. I would rather a psychotic extremist speak their mind so I know what I'm dealing with and that there are actually people irl out there who think a certain way.

Yup. Censoring every radical just creates extremist echo-chambers like Voat and Poal. Bringing them out in the open lets people form their own opinions, like how the BNP leader Nick Griffin was controversially put on BBC Question Time.

They should have more shows like that on American channels but the people who run the political debates here are slanted left so it's kind of a joke. I used to watch talk-shows like Phil Donahue years back: he would be all controversial but the questions, and the guests he would plug you could tell what side he was on. Not a whole lot has changed.
