Part 1: static's origins

Probably gonna be about 2-3 parts

Jack: dude what are you doing?

???: hmm? Oh, I'm working on a "little" project *he was wearing a coat with scattered with oil stains*

Jack: can I see it?

???: Well, it's right in front of me *there was a robot that was strangely human like, but had a TV for a head*
(btw, this is far in the past, like, 50-70 years)

Jack:.....wow...

???: heh, thanks, this has been taking me about 1 and a half years... I like to call it "Project Static"

Jack: thats cool man!

???: okay *he grabs a cable* I think he's ready for a little test run
*he plugs in the cable to the robots back, and teal eyes pop up on the screen*
???: screen is working
*he grabs a controller from a nearby table, and starts trying to move the bots arms, and they move perfectly, somehow, just like a human*
???: Arms work *he seems to be more exited now*
*he moves the legs, just like the arms, they move perfectly*
???: Ookay, now for back, and head movement
*he tries, and they both move perfectly*
???: YES!!! FINALLY!

Jack:.....how the f**k did you make this on your own?

???: YEARS of practice

Jack: dude... if you have a kid you should name it E=mc2

???: ... talking about names, I forgot to tell you mine, my name is James.

Jack: nice to meet you james..

James: Nice to meet you too

Jack:...I have a life to get to so later, goodluck with your project!

James: Thank you

(yes) Jack: * walk back to the time machine and return to my time ( 55 years later) I walked out of the machine and got back to my life* That dude was cool..

*there was a newspaper at his door*

Jack: * I pick it up and knock at the door*

*the newspaper read "NEW Robot in the making! The new GL1TCH-bot! coming to stores near you!"*
*the image of this new Gl1tch looked like project static, but it had a flat-screen, instead of one of those old tv's*

Jack:...holy shit..I wanna see that thing

*at the store, there was a gl1tch bot up on display*

Jack: ...I want that ...shit...I used my money on the time machine....ahh..poor with a friend is better than poor with no one.. * I buy the bot*

???: are you looking at what things people have done with my design? *they were behind him*

Jack:...* i turn around and walk around looking for the voice..* James is that you!

???: no, that was my creator *they realized it was what James was working on a long time ago*

Jack: project static?...

Static: Just call me Static

Jack:...shit bro..That is awesome to see how your design has improved...

Static: It wasn't made by my creators company, when they... killed him, they took me in, and copied my design.

Jack:....ᵗʰᵉʸ ᵏᶦˡˡᵉᵈ ʰᶦᵐ......?

Static: yes...... now this dastardly "Glitch" exists......

Jack:....well...I just bought one of these things..here we can tell it the truth!

Static: it wont listen, they have removed the "living ai" part of it, all it does is seem to be living, but all it does is take orders

Jack: do you know how to code?

Static: yes, I can

Jack: we can override the code then! you save the new code and we will buy a couple more of these, put in the new ai that we want and boom, problem solved!

Static: ... I'm pretty sure these cameras only detect life ... so if you run, I can break the glass and steal the one on display

Jack:...alright! *runs off and hides behind a corner*

Static: *walks to the glass* very thin, wont make much noise *breaks it, and barely any sound came out* okay *grabs the gl1tch-bot* time to run *puts it over his shoulder, and runs for the exit*
Gl1tch: *on* Hello fellow Gl1tch unit!
Static: I'm not one of you
Gl1tch: You must be one of the older models then
Static: "old" is right *continues running*

Jack: *follows static from the shadows*

*after running for a while, they reach an abandoned home*
Static: *sets the Gl1tch bot down on a table, and plugs him in to a computer*

Jack: EPIC! WE DID IT! quickly though! they might find us if we don't code this bitch fast, you probably want to turn off it's navigator!

Static: already done *it looks like he is going through to find the "self learning block"*
*once he did, he deactivated it, and the gl1tch's eyes turned green*
Gl1tch: whu... huh? where am I? Why do you look like me?

Jack: that is a previous model of you! you have been reprogrammed to have freedom of thought. Welcome to the world.

Gl1tch: freedom? I was trapped?
Static: in a metal way, yes

Jack: so what do you want your name to be?

Gl1tch: I... don't know......
Static: well, it can be your original name, but spelled with an "i" instead of a 1.

Jack: yeah...It would allow you to disguise yourself around the others..

Gl1tch: o...okay
Static: *changing a bit of code*
Glitch: so, uh,.... what now?

Jack: you need to know with what to do around others, when in public you always have to follow our orders. if you expose yourself, you could be shutdown.

Glitch: well, I guess I was already built for that... so I guess that's fine
