This whole entire island is mine, it was granted to my ancesters by the Duke of Normal back in 1062AD. I rent out familial plots to my vassals, who are tenant-farmers who pay their taxes in chickens, sheep, and whatever they grow, and by participation in the Volunteer Army. The rest they sell to tourists, along with really expensive black truffels, wild caught fish, and gourmet butter and cheese that sells for $1000 per kilo, or whatever the market. Tourism pays for everything else. By the grace of God the island has it's own oil well and natural gas field. Life is good.
