This is why I think the current education system is wrong. Education is personal and not everyone learns the same way. Thoughts?

Absolutely yes
In middle school I did a homeschool charter. I took classes and proved I was learning, and they paid for any classes I wanted to take. I enjoyed learning. Once I started high school, I went back to public school. Absolute misery. It is nearly impossible to actually enjoy classes.
The homeschool classes I took where both in person and online, once a week for one hour to an hour and a half. Never more than 15 people and extremely fun. I started high school ahead of everyone else, As where a breeze.
Why does the public school system take three and a half hours to teach me something I learned in an hour and a half in homeschooling, then STILL need homework to finish teaching.

In the US the education system is terrible and needs to change. k-8 is a breeze and you don't really have to do any work, 9-12 is annoying because 6-8 does not prepare you and you get overloaded with work, and then college is overpriced and puts millions of people into debt.

Overfunding, too much government regulation, and a lack of affordable competition.

Yes. I do think that, in the future, each child will have some sort of AI that is tailored to teach them and encourage their interests, so that they actually want to learn, rather than it being a chore
