So, I was doing some Forestry & Natural Resources homework, which is when I suddenly hit a huge blunt…; You see, isn't it funny as to how we work so hard to keep animals from overpopulating the Earth due to how, if there's too many animals and an imbalance of species, they'll ruin the world? Herbivores will eat up all of the vegetation, thus starving all other creatures, as well as themselves, and the only way to keep those herbivore levels down is via keeping carnivores at stable levels. And yet, we also have to make sure that there aren't too many carnivorous animals, or else they'll bring the herbivore populations down to dangerously low levels, thus creating a dangerous imbalance in the ecosystem. And yet... Us humans are doing far more damage to the world than any other type of animal, such as pollution, deforestation, global warming, etc.. We recognize this, and we're also recognizing how much our own overpopulation is worsening these things. Why, if our population keeps growing like this, the Earth is sure to go to Hell in a few decades or so, which is something that, without us humans being in the way, animals would never even be able to do by themselves. In spite of this, however, we simply refuse to actually control and mandate the population like we do so mercilessly with the animals; hunting and killing them in order to keep their populations in check. Now, isn't that something?
Take your time and think about it.
Then, tell me: What’s your take on this all?
