I don't know if this is satire or not, but it'd be impossible to find actors that look completely like the cartoon characters they're playing. Also, two of those characters' first appearances were in live action.

t is satire. People have been complaining about Cad Bane and how he looked (they were mad he didn't look like his cartoon counterpart) and there are people mad over this new inquisitor in the Obi-Wan Trailer.

This is an appeal to extremes that calls into question their understanding of perceptions in reality.

Most of the dislike of the inquisitor's head shape comes from the fact that every other Pau'an in Star Wars has a more skinny head
Personally, I don't love it, but it's ultimately not that important to the story

Some common traits of Africans are larger lips, pale skin on soles of hands and feet.
Common traits of Chinese and Japanese are light copper skin, black hair and narrow eyes.
Irish typically have red hair.
Scottish are known to be on the heavier side, typically blonde/brown hair.

It's entirely feasible that this pau'an has a wider head.

As for why he looks this way on camera -

In episode III a pau'an was seen talking to Obi where he seemed to have a narrow head. The actor was on stilts/raised platform to make him seem taller, the garment they gave him made his head appear more narrow than he actually was.
Doing this for a sith who is expected to be doing intense lightsaber combat wouldn't work.

It's just a little bit of a shock to see the aspect ratio of his head change so dramatically
On the whole I'm really excited for this show, and I just hope Disney keeps giving fans what they want instead of trying to make money
I trust Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau, so as long as they're in charge, I'm happy
