scientifically, nobodys born with a set attraction in their mind. even so, attraction cant be forced or controlled so really no, we arent born gay but we cant control that fact.
Attraction occurs when a number of chemicals are released in the brain such as dopamine and norepinephrine. they cause all the symptoms which cause things like an elevated heart beat, blood rushing to your cheeks, sweaty palms. It can also cause loss of appetite and insomnia. it makes us more emotional and generally happier.
so going back to your point that "we are born gay", the fact of the matter is we arent. but lgbtq+ cant control their attraction and same goes for gender too.
studies have found that a womens brain and mans brain are different. they have also found that transgender people have their brains develop corresponding to their specific gender. for example a trans FtM (female to male) would have his brain correspond more towards a male brain when developing.
so yeah. we arent born lgbtq+. we cant control it. we didnt choose it. but we arent born this way.
