ok so i'm trans right? (ftm) and I still look pretty feminine. So at my church (#1 place to go to find transphobic assholes) I went, and I said to my youth group leader "Hi, i'd like to go by Elijah now, is that okay with you?" And she said "yeah, that's fine!" But there was this other kid who heard me, and he said "Urgh, i'm tired of these f*ggots coming into a house of god, going by different names and messing shit up..." His friends heard me too, and started calling me names. It didn't stop the whole time.

So that was that. (I don't go to that youth group anymore btw)

Ok, so I was at school last month, and I was telling my teacher that I would like to change my name to something like Benny, cause I’m transgender (female to male) and my teacher was like, “Sure that’s fine by me, it’ll just take me some time getting used to the name though!” And this kid, that was behind me, he heard my conversation, and was like, “You can’t change your name! Being Transgender is a sin! God will send you to hell for that!” And for the rest of the day, this dude was telling me to not be NonBinary, and to go burn in the deepest pits of hell. So yea, that’s pretty much my worst experience, I guess

I showed my brother and my cousin BTS and they all started saying that they all look gay which there NOT and started saying all these homophobic and transphobic comments on the members of BTS and the LGBTQIA community, I was too stunned too speak 🧍🏿‍♀️😰

I'm a pan person who openly reveals that I'm LGBTQ. The most homophobic experience that happened is when me and my friends [most of which are LGBTQ+] were just hanging around and helping in the library when one of my younger friends made a homophobic comment in front of all of us out of context. Then we all had a bunch of arguments with her, and then I said that being LGBTQ isn't a bad thing, because I am myself. I couldn't hear her say one thing that changed my entire life.
She said.
"Ew".
In front of my friends.
I didn't hear her, but the comment she made about the LGBTQ was enough to shake me forever.
The next day in the library, she pretended it never even happened.

And that was that.
The most traumatizing and homophobic experience I ever had.

we were watching the owl house and we got to the episode where amity kissed luz on the cheek (so cute). then my mom started ranting about how lgbtq+ were just being attention seekers and being dramatic. and saying how she couldnt understand why they got a whole month and parade. then she said some really homophobic and transphobic stuff like "gay people are only in the news because theyre gay. theyre just faking to pretend to be special." and "the only reason some women athletes are losing things is because a bunch of guys dressed as girls decided to join the womens tourtaments because they suck at *insert sport*" and then she made me stop watching the show. im still really upset about it.

Yikes, this is a long one. So, I'm still in the closet (trans FTM omni), and go to a christian school, so I hear a lot of crap there. The worst one by far was only a month ago. Unknowingly to our teachers, most of us (my class) are some color of the rainbow. Soooo, our math teacher who is VERY open about his religion, like really adamant about everything, starts mouthing off on of his former students, who is trans MTF and lesbian. Double whammy, yayyyyy.

So, we're all sitting there all like "Yo, look at this idiot" as he flails his arms around, working up a sweat. But as he continues, he gets more and more, let's say, graphic. More than just misgendering and slurs. Like how this guy will always a man no matter what "he chops off" and how he is just wanting to prey on girls and is a s*xual assault and r*pe case just waiting to happen. Like dude what???

And for the cherry on top, he says, and I quote, "IF HE PUT ONE FOOT IN THIS SCHOOL, I'D BEAT HIM TO A BLOODY PAULP AND SEND HIM TO HELL MYSELF! AND IF ANY OF YOU HAD HIS MENTAL SICKNESS TOO, I'D DO JUST THE SAME! WHY PROLONG THE INVENTIBLE?!" and then stopped, took a breath, and went back to teaching math like nothing ever happened. O-O

He was later fired for a completely different reason. No one ever said anything, and no teachers were present. We still talk about it sometimes. So, all's well that ends well, I guess. Least that monster's gone...
