In reference to the hoopla in North Carolina regarding a law passed preventing transgender people from using bathrooms of the opposite sex and preventing local governments from imposing more stringent laws preventing business discrimination based on sexual orientation:

It is interesting that the legislation's opponents cannot fathom why anyone would want their right to not associate affirmed by the law, meanwhile protesting the bill by threatening to pull business out of North Carolina.
