i agree the sherman was good VERY cheap and multi purpose one of the tanks in history

Panther was horrible, because it had many mechanical issues and was a pain to fix, ammunition stores were vulnerable, and many would just break down in the field, generally being overengineered.
The T-34 was also horrible, because it's armour was very brittle, and the plates often didn't fit together. The gun was mediocre, but no better than the Sherman's. The suspension was also complete rubbish

The Sherman was actually good

The thing with like half of the T-34s that got made was that the factory they came from cut a whole lot of corners, so they might even be missing a turret basket (in addition to a ton of other stuff)
They also had trouble shifting into high gears and had to use a hammer XD

Not to mention that they were so cramped that, if the tank was hit by an anti-tank weapon, crew survival chances were only 20%, as opposed to the 85% of the Sherman
