Moth: "It's one of the knives the Scarlet Flame used back when they existed. I think you should have it."

Jade: "Okay, why should I have it? And what do you mean "when"?"

Moth: "They died out about a hundred years ago...Now take it and leave. Mouse's going to start wondering where I am."

Jade: "One more thing. What was the prophecy and why would I be involved?"

Moth: "Leverets are taught the prophecy before they learn how to walk. It's important to know the religion you'll stand for before you stand. When two souls merge and red falls in white, the crimson fires will be relit, and the clans shall emerge into war once again..."

Jade: *under her breath* "Dammit, I knew you called it with the Star Wars reference..." *to Moth* "So... you're saying I start a war? Listen, I'd rather live 13 more years on the streets than kill people and start a war. What does it even mean?"

Moth: "That's the thing. Not even the Ten Rabbits."

Moth: "None of them know(it was freaking autocorrect)

*you emerge into a cavern that is a little warmer, but still pretty freaking cold. the rabbit statues are everywhere*

*Someone with a black cloak and rabbit mask made of some kind of white glass steps forward, holding a curved blade*

Jade: *steps back* "Shit..." *aims slingshot*

???: "Who are you?"

Jade: "WHich part of me are you askin--nevermind. Jade Daxten"

*in the center of the cavern is a ring of statues, surrounding a large hole in the ground. You start hearing voices*

???: "Most people come down the rabbit hole screaming."

???: "Moth."

Jade: "I'm confused. Are they rabbits or humans, or just furries?"

Jade: *doubles over, cackling*

Moth: "Furries?"

Jade: *gags* "Good you dont know. Thats for the best. Anyway, I dont get this. Can I leave? " *takes a step back*

Moth: "Where did you learn those moves?"

Jade: "Depends why you're asking."

Moth: "No." *grabs Jade and presses a curved blade to her throat*

Jade: *takes in a shaky breath* "O-okay then..." *looks a little nervous, but is thinking* "Uhm..."

Moth: "It's just...It looks like you were trained in...No, it can't be...They died off a few centuries ago..."

Jade: "Who?"

Moth: *sighs* "To answer your question, black rabbits and white rabbits are considered more or less equals. One contains evil and the other good spirits. Gray rabbits are neutral spirits, brown rabbits are just normal animals, and rabbits that are more than one color are the ones with the ability to travel back and forth."

Moth: "Only the ten rabbits are named after rocks and minerals."

Jade: "But I'm not a rabbit!"

Moth: "Each of the members that came too young are named after bugs until they become old enough to become a true member of the white rabbits."

Jade: "Well in that case, I can see why you were named after one of the most annoying ones."

Moth: *shakes head* "One that steps in does not leave."

Jade: "I didnt step in. I fell in."

Moth: "We can't let you tell anyone where we are."

Jade: "You say it like I'd care or not."

Moth: "Your name."

Jade: "Why though? Whats so important about my name?"

Moth: "The Scarlet Flame... They were the only clan rivaling the white rabbits. They were skilled in hand-to-hand combat..."

Jade: "Well, I dont even know my parents, much less a clan. But i kinda...I dunno, the stuff just came to me as if i'd done it my entire life, which...wouldnt really be wrong."

Moth: "Same difference."

Squirrel: "They were siblings. All dark hair, brown-grey eyes. The oldest was tall for his age. The middle kid, which was a girl, had a blond streak in her hair. The youngest was scrawny and small with a few scars here and there.

Jade: *gasps and mutters something* *to Squirrel* "Why did you do it?"

Jade: "Well, what?"

Squirrel: "Wrong kids, then. I was seven when I killed them."

Squirrel: Everyone under 15 is an apprentice. Rodents are after that, then the second-best are hares, then the ten rabbits. "I'm a rodent."

Jade: "What does each one do?"

Squirrel: "Hi."

Bryce: *laughs bitterly* "So thats how it is, huh?"

Jade: *instantly* "Have you ever assassinated anyone before?"

After you told me...I had to warn him, but now he kinda wants to rip you limb from limb. Also, he's my cousin. So the people you murdered were is siblings and my cousins."

Squirrel: "Something about some ancient power or who's religion was better or something."

Jade: "Oh..." *thinking*

Squirrel: *nods*

Jade: *sighs shakily* "I-I know a place we could go...I mean...forget it. We'll stay there for a little, follow me." *runs north-bound*

Jade: *coldly* "If the white rabbits are so good, who told you they were?"

Squirrel: *sighs* "I am doing too much explaining today...Fine. The Scarlet Flame was a cult that died off a while back."

Bryce: "I'm not in a cult. Much less trained by one, both of us were self-taught."
