For awhile now I’ve been going by “Danny” which has been a good masculine name, and it does feel better than my deadname (I’m AFAB). But recently I’ve been thinking of using a more non binary/gender neutral name, but couldn’t decide on one. Today I wrote “peace was never an option” on this whiteboard table at school. Someone who I’m now friends with read it as “peace was here” (I guess my handwriting sucks) and started calling me peace, even after clarification. I actually really like that name, and I’m gonna see if I can start using it
