the steriotype of furries running the internet and majority of IT workers being furries is also true, why? Simple, we're just a bunch of nerds. XD

As a furry I can confirm this to be true, furries are by far one of, if not THE most accepting fanbase/community I've ever seen/been in. And often full of surprises too, you'd never what a furry does for a living unless you ask them some of which have really powerful carrers such as working in IT, engineering, science, teachings, thing like that. Others have some basic jobs and are self employed or use their art to mke money all of which is really amazing to see.

most furries like vore though it's weird as hell, and some are zoophiles and stuff but other than that they can be really cool

Yeah the slight problem with being a very open and accepting community is that some unfavorable people can just waltz right in and affiliate themselves with us. And we just have to try and counter.

btw some websites (like furaffinity) have filters you can apply on certain tags of things you don't like (like vore :D trust me I use it to avoid gross fetishes)

no, and that's why they refuse to try and take the time to understand anything new to them and as such blindly jump on the hate bandwagon. It kinda makes me sad since most of the really hateful people against furries are usually kids or early teens.

ive seen furries in the wild. most of them are actually kinda cool. cringe but tolerable

every one i have seen is SUPER weird and cringe to the point where if i see them i want to punch them
