Please be respectful of a person's pronouns and gender identity, but you can make a joke like "Me on my way to tell the gay kid that the stripes are Straight". But something like burning a pride flag, that's a big no. If something could be easily interpreted as anything more than just a joke, it's probably not something you should say just as a general rule of thumb. Also, don't use religion as an excuse to be homophobic & transphobic. Also also don't actively promote things that go against queer community in the stream. Whether you're gay or whether your homophobic, there is no reason to run your big mouth about it.
