Borealis doesn’t care that they look dirty or have weird traits, he thinks that every Íslendigar is the same (this excludes green variants because he thinks that they are irradiated Íslendigars (radiation contaminated) and shouldn’t exist but would keep them because of army uses if they needed to attack and it was a very hot climate at that time)

Emerald variations have even more heat resistance than regular green variants!

Borealis keeps those for extremely hot climates in army terms

Girau, brown verglas íslendigar
Despite being a verglas variant he's regarded as a higher middle class. Some of the other variants reluctantly respect him (such as the red ones) and that is mutual between them. He seriously dislikes the green variants (I like to think that because the greens are genetically modified to be better, most act like they have a god complex and above all). He wants to create a small resistance to overthrow the government (heh anarchy) so he can show that there should be no difference between all the colours. A very devoted supporter of the brown and yellow lives thing you mentioned (though he might have a bit of the wrong idea of how to do it)
