As it mentions in the end of book 6, it states that Runt takes Breeze's advice on moving up a notch for the perspective and going to archives. This will include more details on what's going on.
There is also a possibility that in book 7, they will be talking the journey to the capital. Considering the fact that it is mentioned that they need to be at the capital as soon as possible. They need to go there to choose their life-time occupation (For example, a worldwide warrior, a bard, etc.)
Another theory is that the current relationships (like Runt x Breeze and more) will become more open. And maybe even some new ones will begin.
