And yet again, it was all a hoax. Most of the MSM just identified the perpetrator as "a student".

It seems silly to say, but....when people set higher standards for themselves - they have a better chance at achieving them. There's truth to the sayings: "Dress for success", "Good, better, best; never let it rest till your good is better and your better is best", "God has entrusted me with myself", "Tell a lie once, and all your truths become questionable".

and my favorite...

"Be the person your dog thinks you are"

You know what's funny? Hate crimes aren't a thing.

Sadly, you are mistaken.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hate_crime_laws_in_the_United_States

Very specifically, Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act (2009).

That law makes it extra-illegal to commit crimes motivated by a victim's actual or perceived gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability. It's also a slippery law, allowing a victim to claim that they were attacked for any reason that would then activate this law against their attacker.

What I mean is a hate crime isn't a "crime genre" it's just a term people use.

It's a term they use in court to increase the level of punishment - it's very real.

Yet again, it's not a genre of crime like you're saying it is.

People are being prosecuted for "hate crimes", there is legislation codifying "hate crime" as a modifier to sentencing guidelines. It's super real. I don't agree with it, but I am able to face the fact that it exists.

I don't know how you can think that existing law is somehow imaginary. Go ahead, test it - I dare you. The left loves to crucify people.

You're not seeing the point of what I'm trying to say. What I'm saying is people are blowing "hate crimes" out of proportion and are now making it a genre of crime which it isn't. So thereby it's not fair to just sit around and let people be put in jail for years longer than they should be because of a "hate crime".

Words matter, you keep saying "it isn't a crime" when there are people in prison right now on hate crime convictions.

You're not getting the f**king point. I'm saying it's not a thing that people can get convicted for . An example I can't go to jail for saying someone is a stupid Asian, that's not how it works.

Here are dozens of examples of people who were convicted for it.
