Make note, it is pronounced "PDW FIVE-SEVEN", not "PDW FIFTY-SEVEN". "57" doesn't mean "fifty-seven", it means "5.7x28mm". In full, the PDW-57, or "Personal Defense Weapon 5.7x28mm caliber" is a futuristic derivative based on the Belgian P90, designed by FN Herstal in 1990. The PDW-57 shares the same bullpup configuration and top-loading magazine as its parent design, with some minor cosmetic changes. In game, damage is moderate, useful for close quarter engagements, but inferior at a distance. Adding "fast mags" to this weapon will not change a thing as the reload speed will remain exactly the same. The PDW-57 also shares the same translucent 50-round magazine as the P90, except feeding from the left instead of straight down the top. The P90 remains my favorite weapon in a majority of video games among the SMG class, itself seen in all of the "Modern Warfare" titles, the PDW-57 in "Call of Duty Black Ops 2", the Weevil in "Call of Duty Black Ops 3", the Cordite in "Call of Duty Black Ops 4", the P90 itself seen in "Fortnite", and the Hero Shot seen in "Splatoon 2".
