They're all from the same guy, and imgflip features 100% of them. Those gifs aren't funny, nor all that impressive for ppl who don't give a shit

An image does not necessarily have to be funy. Personnally, i don't do -and won't do- nothing but soccer gifs. Yes, soccer can seem boring, and only people who have played it or love it can recognize the beautiful -though rare- moves and touches in a match. A secondes long gif image highlights them better. And, as an answer to the question in the above MEME: BECAUSE IT COMES FROM A SPORTS WEBSITE!

Yeah we all read that submission page. It says "Funny, unique or interesting." Something along those lines. Doesn't ALWAYS have to be funny like some think.

It's a question of choice and freedom, MangoSlice. If you don't like "soccer" images just express it by "unliking" them. Personnally there are tons of images i find silly, boring, offending or immoral. I will name none. I already expressed my opinion by unliking. I guess this is how things shoud be. If soccer images broke any kind of rules, the administrators of the site would not allow them to stay here. And as long as they are permitted, I'll keep loading them. Because I happen to love soccer, "boring" as it might seem.

During the mid-19th century, boys had the odd propensity to nickname everything, oftentimes adding an “er” to the end of a word. So, Rugby became “Rugger”, and Association Football (the earliest form of the current game) became “Assoccer”, and soon after that was simply called “soccer”.

Thank you, The Roosh, for showing some people that "Soccer" is not the apanage of Third World countries, and that it is deep rooted in "civilized" England. As for the name, Football Association, it still appears in the name of the international governing body for the sport, i.e FIFA. Fédération internationale de Football Association.

Hi Abdellah. I just wanted to point out that the name "soccer" was NOT invented to differentiate the game from North American Football. It's just conveniently used that way today. And that nerds who insist it must be called football at all times are misguided.

That's a bogus equation, if you were smart you would've taken USA pop divided by GB pop, and multiplied that by 245 to get 1,216. But I guess they don't teach that across the pond.

Yes but many british athletes were in the same field where there is only 1 gold medal up for grabs. also, to fight your original point, winning lots of medals does not hide the fact that america is the most obese nation in the world
