Don't bring up indigenous people, they're not special either. The Aztecs used to chop off heads and remove the hearts of people they not only captured but also enslaved. Every tribe of human can be a peice of crap just like the next. It's not all drum circles and sweat lodges bro. Indigenous people oppressed their own all of the time, villages get trampled, women get stolen and horses are pilfered.
