POV in comments

POV: your oc is walking through a forest when it suddenly gets very cold, they see a beautiful vine and moss covered cottage with a wizard tower connected to it and decide to go in to escape the cold. When they get inside there is a nice and cozy living room and they look outside to see that it is snowing. What do they do?

Forgot to say this but heres some facts about the bird boy :)
Name: Jupiter or “The great moonlight powered inventor, potion brewer and wizard, Jupiter”
Age: 21
Pronouns: he/it/star
Height: 5ft 8in
Species: quarter snow owl Pangean, quarter energy Pangean (specifically moon/night energy)
Heart stone: Labradorite
(All Pangeans have a crystal/rock/gem as a heart that gives them their powers. They are called heart stones and I’ll post the full lore to them soon and how they work :) )

Also added fun fact: Jupiter has a pet hiland cow that is white with brown spots and named Ginger! They live inside and act like a puppy that does not know it is super big (but Ginger is a mini cow so she’s about the size of an average dog, maybe bigger)

???: *teeth chattering, she sits down to try and warm herself up*

Jupiter: *shrugs* *looks outside* it’s still snowing-

Kira: yeah, im not going anywhere. not yet

Jupiter: yeah that’s a good idea- don’t want you dying—

KIra: exactly

Jupiter: mhm

Kira: *looks around*

Jupiter: *drinks tea*

Kira: you seem to enjoy the is stuff

Jupiter: yeah

Kira: *plays with a tiny bit of fire in her hand*

Jupiter: I dunno-

Kira: so what do you do out here

Jupiter: not much.. read, write, go for walks or go flying for a while when it’s not to bad outside

Kira: you have no other hobbies

Jupiter: eh- I make potions—

Kira: Im listening

Jupiter: I can make any potions, ones that are poison, ones that heal or anything else- I made one once that once you drink it you explode- then the client tried it right in front of me ._. No amount of mind wipe spells could erase that-

Kira: huh....... thats interesting. ive never seen that before

Jupiter: trust me you don’t want to-

Kira: and why is that

Jupiter: a few years ago I did

Kira: tell

Jupiter: there’s not really much to say about it- I usually didn’t fight really powerful villains or anything- mostly because I wasn’t allowed to—

Kira: and why is that

Jupiter: strict rules of the magic school I was at

Kira: you think I listened to the rules

Jupiter: no, but I did

Kira: I don’t. Made me who I am

Jupiter: good for you, kid

Kira: *lights her hand on fire* don’t call me that

*Jupiter walks to the kitchen, almost knocking over a bookshelf with his wings but caught it and put it back*

Kira: *still trying to warm herself up*

*in a minute or so Jupiter comes out of the kitchen with a tray of tea*

Kira: th-thanks

Jupiter: you’re welcome *he hands her a cup of warm tea*

Kira: *drinks it*

*Jupiter sits down on the chair next to her and holds the other cup of tea*

Kira: thats better

Jupiter: so- why are you all the way out here in the woods alone?

Kira: chasing a criminal

Jupiter: you said “better than mine”-

Kira: no I didn’t

Jupiter: well this will be hard to explain then- I have not really an elemental magic but just a “wow flashy light” magic that re-charges with moonlight

Kira: huh, interesting. sounds pretty weak

Jupiter: eh- it can be but I can also create solid objects like rope or swords

Kira: well..... not bad

Jupiter: yeah- obviously it’s not the most powerful but it does the job

Kir: what job

Jupiter: defending myself

KIra: from what?

Jupiter: anyone that I need to

Kira: you say anyone like people just break in and attack all the tiem

Jupiter: what would you like to have for breakfast? I have other food if you don’t like what I’m making-

Kira: I’ll eat itn

Jupiter: k

Kira: wait

Jupiter: ?

Kira: huh?

Jupiter: idk-

Kira: *waits*

Jupiter: here *gives her a plate* just help yourself to whatever

Kira: ok, thanks

Jupiter: using your chaos for good

Kira: sometimes

Jupiter: that was an answer I expected to hear-

Kira: yeah. Only sometimes it ends up for good

Jupiter: another expected answer-

Kira: *smirks*

Jupiter: so- what else do you like to do?-

Kira: train

Jupiter: cool-

Kira: eh, kind of

Jupiter: I knew you would say that -.-

Kira: *grins*

Jupiter: just don’t hurt anyone-

Kira: I won’t, promise

Jupiter: k- well I’m going to bed now- my room is at the end of the hallway if you need me, the bathroom is the white door with the floating lanterns above it, and you can help yourself to anything in the kitchen

Kira: thanks

Jupiter: no problem, I’ll see ya in the morning *he walks to his room*

Kira: *nods and goes in hers, closing the door*

Jupiter: *making breakfast*

Kira: morning

Jupiter: oh, good morning, Kira! Did you sleep well?

Kira: I didn’t sleep

Jupiter: o- well I didn’t either

Kira: may I ask why

Jupiter: I usually have trouble sleeping-

Kira: something I can relate to

Jupiter: oh ok

Kira: make sense

Jupiter: mhm

Kira: so do as you will with that information

Jupiter: ok-

Kira: *sighs*

Kira: what?

Jupiter: I dunno

Jupiter: when you are the last of a powerful species, some people do *sips tea*

Jupiter: yep

Kira: you are the last of your kind?

Jupiter: well there are more Pangeans but not many

Kira: huh, interesting

Jupiter: yeah

Kira: do you all have moon magic

Jupiter: nope

Kira: all different kinds?

Jupiter: yeah

Jupiter: since I was born. It was a family home for generations

Kira: hmph, nice

Jupiter: yeah, great grandad passed it on to grandad, he passed it on to my dad, then he passed the house to me- that was happening before my great grandfather but you get the point

Kira: yeah, I do

Jupiter: k

Kira: so, what now?

Jupiter: is that/ a surprise to you that I eat normal breakfast food?-

Kira: it is a surprise to me

Jupiter: why is that-

Kira: I’m not used to it

Jupiter: oh-

Kira: what?

Jupiter: I dunno- ._.

Kira: *rolls eyes*

Kira: yeah. now, let me check *holds her hand up and some fire appears in it* yes! its back *puts the fire away*

Jupiter: fire magic- interesting

Kira: not magic. birth powers

Jupiter: that’s cool-

Kira: you got magic? or anything, really?

Jupiter: yep! I have moon magic :)

Kira: *puts her fire away* that’s what I thought

Jupiter: so calling you kid is a big no-

Kira: *smirks*

Jupiter: you sure do like chaos, don’t you?-

Kira: darling, I am chaos

Jupiter: so you’re one of those kids- chaos themselves

Jupiter: no problem *he grabs a plate and puts some food on it for himself*

Kira: *grabs food*

*Jupiter goes to a dining room branching off of the kitchen, there are gears and clocks all over the place and a bunch of plants. In the middle of the room is a long table with vases full of strange orange and green plants* *the only source of light is a chandelier on the ceiling and a stained glass window on the back wall that illuminates the room with multicolored light*

Kira: holy cow this is cool

Jupiter: I know right? Each family member got to make part of this house using their magic, this was the only room that was made by all of us. Every detail in this room was made by a different person :)

Kira: your family seems really awesome

Jupiter: they were- at least in my opinion they were-

Kira: *mutters* better than mine

Jupiter: you don’t have a good family?-

Kira: huh? What?

Jupiter: *puts his tea cup down and picks up a book, starting to read*

Kira: *blinks* wow

Jupiter: ?

Kira: you are the definition of boring

Jupiter: apologies, I do not have many visitors-

Kira: thats fine. you are just boring

Jupiter: I’m aware-

Kira: *smirks*

Jupiter: ._.

Kira: what?

Jupiter: ?-

Kira: this looks nice

Jupiter: oh- thank you, I decorated all the rooms myself :) *mumbles* with magic but I still did it- *he opens the door and it leads to a big bedroom that has plants through out it, a bed sits against a wall with a big window behind it, but it’s not snowing through the window, outside of this room is a magical looking forest with fireflies flying around*

Kira: *blinks* this is impressive

Jupiter: thanks- surprisingly this room took the least amount of magic to make-

Kira: that makes me more impressed. I will try not to burn it down over night

Jupiter: well at least if you do everything here is magically fireproof

Kira: really?

Jupiter: yep

Kira: I may or may not test that theory

Jupiter: why “kind of”?

Kira: training is fun sometimes, not others

Jupiter: understandable

Kira: do you train

Jupiter: sometimes- but I just do it so that I’m always ready if someone tries to kill me-

Kira: train with me tomorrow

Jupiter: ok

Kira: you’re gonna want to rest. You’ll die otherwise

Jupiter: are you p l a n n i n g on making me die?-

Kira: no! I don’t want to kill you. But if you aren’t sleeping and paying attention. I might on accident

Jupiter: *takes another sip of tea* mostly, there is one of each magic type left

Kira: *drinks hers* what are each of those types

Jupiter: moon, sun, earth, fire, rose, water, and ice. I heard somewhere that the last rose Pangeans were twins but that may be just a rumor

Kira: so there are very few left. Why aren’t there more of you?

Jupiter: a year long war a long time ago wiped us all out. Only leaving a few alive

Kira: that sucks

Jupiter: yeah… But the Pangean population will grow again soon! Hopefully-

Kira: *finishes her tea* thank you

Jupiter: you’re welcome, would you like some more or no?

Kira: I’m good, thank you

Jupiter: I guess so

Kira: how often do you use them

Jupiter: potions?-

Kira: y e s

Jupiter: not a lot but when they are needed ig

Kira: are you bored of me

Jupiter: no?-

Kira: *smirks*good

Jupiter: so- what else would you like to talk about?

Kira: do you fight criminals

Jupiter: w h a t

Kira: nevermind

Jupiter: k-

Kira: *leans back*

Jupiter: it’s getting late- I’ll be heading off to bed, but before I do, would you want me to show you the guest room?

Kira/ why not

Jupiter: okay *he stands up and waits for Kira*

Kira: *stands up* lead the way

*Jupiter walks towards a hallway that has a lot of doors, they each look different, he stops at one that is dark brown with flowering vines around it*

Kira: *confusion*

Jupiter: yep-

Kira: what time is it

Jupiter: *looks at his watch* 7:30

Kira: it’s that early

Jupiter: yeah- well this watch may be broken and stuck going 2 hours earlier than the time- but I’m not really sure

Kira: it’s whatever

Jupiter: so- *trying to pass the time* what do you usually do in your spare time?

Kira: beat criminals up

Jupiter: that’s- fun-?

Kira: it is a little bit. Knowing I’m stopping crimeb

Jupiter: a human- EXPLODING- r i g h t in front of you???

Kira: seen that before

Jupiter: huh-

Kira: yeah, ive seen some weird stuff

Jupiter: I can tell-

Kira: it’s not pleasant

Jupiter: yeah

Kira: well, its fine

Jupiter: …

Kira: so, you have something interesting about you

Jupiter: ok then *takes a sip of tea* so, I’ve talked about myself quite a bit, tell me some stuff about yourself

Kira: well, like you saw, I have fire powers. I can control every type of fire, and fire will not hurt me. The reason I came in here was because I got too cold. That’s my one weakness. If I get too cold, my body freezes up, I can’t form my fire, and then I die.

Jupiter: oh- well good thing that you saw my house, right?

Kira: yeah…. Wasn’t far from collapsing

Jupiter: * doesn’t know what to say, so he just sips his tea*

Kira: is that not what you wanted to hear?

Jupiter: no- not exactly I am just not the best at responses, and I was just thinking about— what would have happened if you didn’t find shelter-

Kira: well, you or someone else would have found me. And then you would’ve been a matter of how fast you would’ve been able to warm me up

Jupiter: yeah- I may have seen you from the sky but with the snow and wind it may have made my vision not be the best

Kira: happy I found this place then

Jupiter: if you don’t mind me asking, do you know why you have trouble sleeping?

Kira: t r a u m a

Jupiter: ayyyyye s a m e

Kira: good knowing I’m not the only sleep deprived trauma freak

Jupiter: yeah

Kira: what are you making

Jupiter: bacon, eggs, pancakes, ya know- breakfast food

Kira: you eat normal breakfast?

Jupiter: yeah…?

Kira: huh, ok

*??? Sees the character in the image above crash into the snow, stand up and shake the snow off them then run inside, seeing ???. Slightly surprised but more calm than most people in that situation*
Jupiter: well hello there-

???: w-who are you?

Jupiter: I am Jupiter! Who are you?

???: K-Kira

Jupiter: nice to meet you Kira!

Kira: y-you too

Jupiter: you look cold! Would you like some tea? I have coffee if you’re more of a coffee person-

Kira: t-tea please. a-and yes...i-im fr-freezing

Jupiter: ok then it will be ready soon! Here, I’ll get you a blanket *he snaps and the fireplace gets lit and he walks to a closet and gets two blankets, giving one to Kira and putting the other on the chair near her*

Kira: *snuggles it*
