it used to be a safe place and it was pretty fun, but lately there's so many trolls you can't tell who's actually homophobic
we have a rule against homophobia that says as long as it isn't a joke (the example given was "lgbtq when they realize the lines in the pride flag are straight) it's not allowed
but people try to slap the label of "joke" onto shit that's actually hurtful and at this point mods can face harassment for unfeaturing homophobia, even other mods will side with the trolls, and some of them are trolls. if someone so much as suspects that you're queer, they'll call you "fatherless" and "a snowflake"
unironically liking anything will also be met with harassment now
i see way too many comments saying shit like
"oh you like dsmp you have no rights!!!!111"
"you must be [r slur]-ed because you like something i don't"
"OH NO CRING ANIME FAN!!!111"
"you're not funny because i don't get the joke ahahhahahhaa"
but msmg used to be pretty chill
