I mean, I was only a kid at the time, but I remember the Energy Crisis, gas rationing (and cars were gas hogs back then). Everyone was bitching about inflation, interest rates, and the Dow was only at around 800 points. And then the terrorists go the idea of hijacking planes, and the Iran Hostage situation on the news every night.

This was in the 70s

but then came the 80s the stock and free market rose and was at its prime and was the best job to work at at the time i assume atleast

I have a dream to either be a political scientist or work on Wallstreet and financing or simply be a mercenary but I want cash I need cash to survive in this system I only want a surplus some extra cash for other things like luxury possibly it would be nice to have things like an overview of NY or maybe drinking expensive liquors or even eating exotic foods at an expensive restaurant but my goal and dream and ideals came from 80s businessmen my dad was one actually he taught me the ways of how a man should behave in order for ppl to get what they wanted its actually pretty amazing and easy
