Metal is coming back to the states. It was never dead, it was just across the pond for awhile .
But it is returning, and it's oozing with the THRASH sound. All those hours of playing slayer solos on the corner of your bed in your underwear will not be in vain lol

Nah, in my younger days, I used to learn from the hal and Leonard books.....then found out Kerry doesn't really write down or have cannon solos....it's more of a "direction" lol. Slayer was about energy, a feeling, a vent . Everyone always put Hanneman on a pedestal, but I found the 2 to be equals . My music opinions are usually unpopular, I think the 90s allman bros albums were way better than the 70s.

Petrucci had like the highest selling sig model outside of lp. Not a fan of his work (nothing wrong with it) gotta give credit do, he's definitely humble too.
I'm on a kick this year,a resolution. I'm trying to find 50 new albums to listen to. Some are "new" bands, some just undiscovered. Some are the lesser known albums of famous bands. Trying to get away from the force feed . I've got a hell of a random playlist already
