During Nixon's administration, the Republican Party still possessed moral and ethical integrity to hold him and many of his corrupt allies accountable for corruption. Not so today, with the vast majority of Republican leaders in Congress and statewise - swearing blind allegiance to Trump and constantly adapting their messaging to appeal to his CULT followers - all for their own social, economic and/or political self interests; the Constitution be damned.
They've learned absolutely nothing from world history and still seem to think the US is exceptional - just like every other empire that ever preceded them that ultimately fell - due to the exact same political arrogance, cowardice and/or corruption of many of their own officials. Idiots!
