I've had the pleasure of trying them both and the performance of a ps5 versus a series X puts Microsoft to almost as much shame as the Xbox One did at launch

i tried the PS5, and it sucked
-No halo
-cant play older games from previous consoles
-better fps
-better graphics
-easily better gamepasses

if you're really going to list "no halo" as a point than you've never touched a ps exclusive
and they both have practically equal capacity for 8k graphics as well as 120 fps speeds
it's more a matter of the customizability of the ps5
i will admit the xbox game pass is better than psnow
and ps5s are having backwards compatibility developed i'd bet, Sony neglected to work on that with the ps4. i mean, if you need to play an older game you can take a 1 week subscription to psnow and it's probably on there

i have had a PS exclusive. they are good, it's just I prefer halo. Xbox now has backwards compatibility with their discs from older consoles, so I can play fable, halo 3, legacy console Minecraft and more.

the thing is though
if you want that experience and have the disk you probably have the original console too

and you dont need a gamepass to play older games

i would guess with the number of features sony loves to throw in it's only a matter of time until backwards compatibility exists

i dont think microsoft is done yet, either. both consoles are good, I just overall score series x a 9/10 and the ps5 and 8/10

past specs it does come down to the personal feel of it, whether it's regularity or customizability or capability for certain actions, and there are a litany of reasons to prefer one item over the other just that little bit
