since 1973 20 million black abortions have been done by Planned parent hood... And I am supposed to be the racist one lmfao

Margaret Sanger (planned parenthood founder) was an outspoken racist and eugenicist who advocated for forced sterilization and abortion for "undesirable" people. Make of that what you will...

Sanger was a psychologically immature woman, who spent her entire life resenting younger siblings for making her share their mother's love. This jealousy and antagonism led her to become an activist for abortion and eugenics. Such emotions, by their self-centered nature, will always produce selfish and destructive actions.

But she still got to be hero to the left (for awhile anyway) since abortion on demand fits the leftist narrative.

Why do people resent eugenics so much? I see it used as a cringe worthy title for someone. Isn't making humans better with genetics something to embrace? If we didn't let anyone with an IQ lower than 75 breed, do you realize how far ahead our society would be? We would be exploring the outer reaches of space and would have been colonized on other planets by now in 2022. instead look at our society.. people don't know what gender they are , raging a cartoons and pancake boxes.. Eugenics to me is a science that we should have embraced fully. Eugenics (/ j uː ˈ dʒ ɛ n ɪ k s / yoo-JEN-iks; from Ancient Greek εύ̃ (eû) 'good, well', and -γενής (genḗs) 'come into being, growing') is a set of beliefs and practices that aim to improve the genetic quality of a human population

I think because the answer to that is that humans who believe they are most qualified to judge what it is to "improve the genetic quality of a human population" would go about doing so based on personal preferences and prejudices. I leave improving our species to nature and the gods; improving myself I leave to me.

there is precedent in regard to improving a biological organism, we have been doing it with livestock and agriculture for a 100 years. Increasing intelligence, increasing resistance to illnesses, increasing physical attributes simply with selective breeding , I think we can both agree that if we could apply these enhancements to society, it would in fact be better off. I mentioned precedent - this is what I used as reference material --> http://www.eugenicsarchive.org/html/eugenics/static/themes/28.html

Selective breeding. Now that does take the humanity straight out of it hm? Not what I would call an improvement in any sense of the word. Living -whether here on earth or out in the stars- requires adaptability, self-determination and the drive to overcome obstacles. These qualities are not found in a test tube nor in a computerized mating system. Probably why some species on earth have endured since the age of dinosaurs. It is definitely what separates the great from artificially generated ideals of "perfection". Think Beethoven, Andrea Boccelli, Tesla. Without the disabilities they had to overcome it is doubtful their contributions would have been so illustrious. And anyone telling you to trust the ethics of eugenic scientists who have more ego than common sense, what they are asking of you is to forfeit your humanity.

IDK about all that, maybe those individuals you mentioned would have been even greater if they had all of their faculties intact or maybe they may have been even better if those abilities were enhanced. If you simply look at society today, you can see how far back we fell by keeping ideas about improving ourselves in the dark, even as far as calling improving people "racist" or "evil". It seems that human IQ is lowering at a staggering pace, that that is partly due to breeding. If the dumbest, most useless people continue to reproduce, Society will fall.

That is quite the stilted fantasy. We do know what they achieved with the challenges they faced, but there is no shred of evidence to make the argument they would have achieved more had they been artificially "improved". And on a personal note, I have achieved the professional and personal ambitions I've had since childhood, and I have done this while dealing with epilepsy. It has been a rough road, but the challenges this condition produces contributes vastly to the person I am today. So I know from experience one does not need to be born perfect to have the sense of being complete. This may be something beyond the grasp of sterile scientists, but it is no less true.

I know from experience as well, Childhood diabetes with autonomic nerve damage and subsequent gastroparesis. I would not want my child to have to go through the horrific pain I went through.. so if medical breakthroughs with genetic manipulation can make a child healthier , stronger, and more resistant to illness - God bless those scientists. Please have the last word if you like, but this is my final comment on this subject. Thank you for the interesting conversation. take care and be well always.

Thank-you, too. It has been nice meeting someone here who knows how to have a civil debate. Gods bless :)

Species that have survived since the dinosaurs are the ones where the strongest and smartest, they were able to survived and breed offspring. If we could create an immune system in humans that were immune to poison , sickness, and disease.. you don't think that would be an improvement?

Medical advances are a great thing. Playing god is quite another, and one that always ends up with detrimental results.

making people stronger and healthier , smarter and more resistant to illness through breeding the best genes is hardly playing God, it is actually using the tools God gave us to make ourselves better. Final comment here as well ;)

Of course I can see where person prejudices could be a major problem, but if we could apply these things across the board of race and gender to all people as a progressive measure within our society - I think Eugenics could very well be an answer tomorrow to many problems that we face today.
