One day Squidward lured 5 children to the back room of the Krusty Krab. He was wearing a Spongebob suit and thus the children thought he was Spongebob and followed him. He proceeded to kill them and stuff them in tartar sauce containers. Years later their souls lured him onto this stage performance, dressed as Spongebob again. But this time, the sponge contained moisture, enough to trip the spongelocks, and thus Squidward met his painful, bloody end as we witness here. He would end up being sealed in the back room of the Krusty Krab, where he would decay and eventually emerge as what we know as Spongetrap. 30 years later a horror attraction, Krusty's Fright, based on the old mysteries of the now abandoned Krusty Krab, was set to be opened. Some of the people working on the attraction searched the now abandoned restaurant once owned by Mr. Krabs in order to gather whatever relics they could find. They discovered Spongetrap in the back room, and, believing him to be the decayed remains of the once-famous fry-cook, brought him to the attraction. The security guard stationed to watch the attraction had multiple encounters with Spongetrap each night of the week before the attraction was scheduled to open, and reported that Spongetrap tried to get into his office multiple times. At the end of that week, only a day before the attraction was scheduled to open, the place mysteriously burned to the ground. The suspected cause was faulty wiring. Only a few items were salvaged, including what was believed to be the old spatula of the iconic fry-cook, and were sold at public auction.
