i have an idea on how to, but i dont know how to tell you. It depends on what kind of boots your planning on.

Do you know GHOST, aka Ghost and Pals? The cover of their playlist "Thanks to You" I want boots kind of similar to the character on the front.

ok thanks! uh... for this one, maybe just do what you are doing now, but maybe add a little bit more thickness to the boots so it can be somewhat distinguishable between the actual leg and the boot
