Avalanche replied, “oh right… you haven’t met someone that is your species… I’m sorry, I should have known better.”
“It’s fine,” said Stardust, “when we find my parents, we can ask them.”
“Excuse me one second.”
Avalanche walked back into the ship, when she came out she had all of her armor on except her helmet.
Avalanche spoke again, “we haven’t seen anything like you before, and you were found on a planet that had no life-forms or anything on it. I’m wondering how you got there.”
“Believe me, I want a few answers myself.”
“Stardust? Is it just me or is one of your wings on fire?”
“What?!”
Stardust looked at her wings, her right wing was on fire. Her left wing however, was growing ice as if it were armor.
“Woah… let me try something…”
Stardust drew in her breath and breathed a small flame, creating a small fire on the ground and melting some of the snow. She tried the same thing with ice, her frost breath froze the ground where the fire had melted the snow.
“Congrats Stardust, you have fire and ice abilities.”
“Thanks… I wonder how long it will take to control these.”
“Probably not that long, you might already have an understanding of it, kind of like your instincts. I think it will be quick.”
“I hope so. I want to try something before I head in for the night.”
“Alright. Go ahead, I’ll wait here.”
